Harl Family Dentistry is seeking a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-centered dental practice in Columbia, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for a hygienist looking for a stable, long-term position in a supportive, well-organized private practice that values education, quality care, and work-life balance.

We welcome applicants currently licensed in Missouri, and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• 4-day workweek

• No evenings

• No weekends

• Optional Friday hours may be added in the future (not required)

Position Overview

We are looking for a licensed Dental Hygienist who enjoys patient education, teamwork, and delivering high-quality preventive care. You will work alongside doctors and team members who respect your clinical skills and value the hygienist’s role in comprehensive patient care.

This position is ideal for someone transitioning from a high-volume or corporate office and seeking more autonomy, support, and time with patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and periodontal care for adult and pediatric patients

• Perform prophy, SRP, and periodontal maintenance

• Educate patients on oral hygiene, prevention, and long-term oral health

• Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs

• Accurately chart and communicate clinical findings

• Collaborate with doctors, assistants, and front office staff

• Maintain infection control, OSHA, and clinical safety standards

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (required)

• CPR/BLS certification

• Strong communication and patient-education skills

• Team-oriented, dependable, and professional

• New graduates welcome
