Job DescriptionThe University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a DENTAL HYGIENIST to work under general supervision of the attending dentist and according to established policies and procedures, renders routine dental hygiene care such as scaling, root planning, curettages, cavitrons, polishing, applying sealants and administering fluoride treatments. Takes, develops and mounts radiographs of patient's teeth as necessary. May perform various administrative and clerical duties in support of department operations. Responds to the unique needs of all patients ages newborn through geriatric. Will serve registered patients of the 1917 Dental Clinic at UAB.
