Job Duties: This position is located in the Community Service Learning Center in Spruce Pine, NC.This position supports the clinical activities, as well as nurse training and support for CSLCs. This position is the consultant for all SOPs and regulations that pertain to infection control, medical emergencies and quality assurance that deals with clinical care. While many different dental procedures may be performed, the majority of procedures the nurse will support are surgical in nature: oral surgery including extractions of erupted and impacted teeth, periodontal surgery,implant surgery, the use of a microscope of complex endodontic procedures, and intravenous conscious sedation.
