Salary is $55.00 per hour or higher depending on experience. Position can be either full time or part time.

Registered Dental Hygienist needed for our well established, family oriented, modern dental practice located in Hopewell Junction, NY. We provide a full range of general dental care for patients with emphasis on fixed prosthetics, removable prosthetics, and implant restorations.
Currently, there is a part-time or full-time position available. Our office is opened Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and 1 or 2 Saturdays per month from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The salary range is $55.00 per hour or higher, depending on experience.
Job skills and responsibilities include:
- Taking x-rays and familiarity with Dexis imaging
- Applying sealants
- Patient screening procedures; such as assessment of oral health conditions, review of health history, oral cancer screening, head and neck inspection
- Removing calculus and plaque (hard and soft deposits) from all surface of the teeth
- Applying preventive materials to the the teeth
- Teaching patients appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
- Counseling patients about good nutrition and it's impact on oral health
