Our services are offered at our state-of-the-art Torrington clinic as well as through our school-based dental programs.
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Dental Hygienist to join our growing team! If you are passionate about working with children and believe in the importance of access to quality dental care, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, patient-centered dental hygiene care in a child-friendly environment.
- Perform cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealant applications.
- Educate children and their families on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care.
- Demonstrate empathy and respect while working with children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs.
- Maintain detailed, accurate, and timely patient records.
- Collaborate with dentists, dental assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
- Must be a licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of Connecticut.
- Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay up to date on the latest advancements in pediatric dentistry.
- Experience working with children is preferred; a passion for pediatric dentistry is a must!
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively educate and reassure young patients.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented setting.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and high standards of care.
