I am a proud IU alumni and a husband and father of 3. I enjoy spending time with my wife and of course my two dogs.
Entering into dentistry was a foregone conclusion since college. Having lunch with my dentist to better understand the profession sealed the deal. I knew I wanted to work in healthcare, and to own my own practice. It became clear that dentistry was my destiny! My persistence and attention to detail served as a form of natural selection — creating opportunities that ultimately led me to choose periodontics as my specialty.
History & Education
I was both the Vice President of my class and captain of the wrestling team. My summer job as a golf caddie helped me earn the Evans Scholarship, while imbuing me with a love of the game. A double major in Chemistry and Biology at Indiana University led to years of study at the Indiana University School of Dentistry. I achieved my DDS, my Certificate of Periodontics, and my MS, and followed up with certification in a variety of specialty procedures, including teeth in a day and IV sedation.
