Job Summary:
The person in this position will perform Dental Hygiene duties with patients at KY Clinic Adult Dentistry. This will include performing prophylaxis and polishing, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, patient assessment of hard and soft tissues, periodontal exams, applying fluoride varnish and sealants, as ordered by the dentist, and taking radiographs. The person in this position will also provide additional clinical support and provide patient record documentation. Skills /Knowledge/Abilities:
Must have excellent clinical dental hygiene skills, and ability to work with mentally, medically and physically complex patients. MS Office, Dental Hygienist License, Attention to Detail, Team-Oriented, Knowledge of Medicaid Insurance, proficient in health records.
