The Division of Periodontics, Section of Oral, Diagnostic and Rehabilitation Sciences, Columbia University College of Dental Medicine is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position at the Clinical/Health Care Track. The position will be at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience, and is available immediately. Candidates must (i) have a US or Canadian DDS or DMD degree, (ii) be eligible to practice dentistry in the State of New York, and (iii) have completed a CODA accredited specialty training in Periodontology. Diplomate status by the American Board of Periodontology is highly desirable. Â
Preference will be given to candidates with a track record of 3-5 years of clinical and academic teaching experience. The incumbent will be primarily expected to contribute to the didactic and clinical Periodontics and Implant Dentistry curriculum at the College of Dental Medicine, engage in scholarly activity, and pursue an academic career in Periodontology within the rich scientific environment of the Division. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
