Job Description Reporting directly to the Clinical Practice Manager within the Group Practice Model located on the 5th floor. The Clinical Care Supervisor is responsible to manage, provide guidance and direct the daily work flow of the Patient Coordinators, fifth floor reception desk, which supports the operations of the Periodontic and General Dentistry Clinic operations. The individual will ensure that excellent customer service is provided to GPLs, Faculty, and patients requiring dental services and the providers delivering the services. The Clinical Care Supervisor must be able to effectively mentor the staff, provide cross training and support a team centered environment, as well as implement changes necessary to the growth of our business operations. The Clinical Care Supervisor will work with the Practice Manager in assisting with the interviewing process, staffing concerns and disciplinary issues. The Clinical Care Supervisor will also provide backup to the Practic Manager for approved time away, unplanned absences, weekly time entries, overseeing clinic schedules, running reports (i.e. open sessions, income and chair utilization), attend meetings, clinic orientations and any other operational items that may arise.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree required
Supervisory experience of 1-3 years in running a clinic practice, preferably a dental clinic
Education may be substituted by having had advanced specific education in a certificate-based program from an accredited organization and experience in a similar type of role
Must be able to demonstrate on a consistent basis strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Efficient and detail oriented; good multitasker
Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with staff, faculty and patients
