JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Dental Hygiene - Review health histories. Provide oral hygiene education and diet education for parents and patients. Perform oral examination and identify supra and subgingival calculus. Take and process bitewings and panoramic x-rays. Provide dental prophylaxis and fluoride treatment. Patient Records - Record pertinent patient information in electronic dental record. May also serve as a scribe for the dentists in situations where the dentist is otherwise occupied in the direct care of the patient.
