Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Periodontist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in periodontics, proficiency in LANAP, and a passion for delivering exceptional care. In this role, the candidate will need to bring their own LANAP machine to provide cutting-edge laser therapy for patients. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity in a supportive and dynamic practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive periodontal exams and diagnose conditions such as gum disease, recession, and bone loss.
Provide LANAP (Laser Assisted New Attachment Procedure) to patients as part of periodontal treatment plans.
Perform surgeries, including soft and hard tissue grafting, bone regeneration, and implant placements & planning.
Collaborate with the general dental team to develop and implement treatment plans.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of periodontal health.
Stay current with the latest advances in periodontics, including new technologies, procedures, and treatment options.
Schedule: 1 Thursday a month
Qualifications:
DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental school.
Board-certified or Board-eligible Periodontist.
At least three years of clinical experience in periodontics.
Proficiency in performing LANAP and other periodontal treatments.
Must bring their own LANAP machine.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex procedures in a patient-friendly manner.
Ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
