Department Name: 7A830:Division of Adult DentistryJob Summary: The person in this position will perform Dental Hygiene duties with patients at KY Clinic Adult Dentistry. This will include performing prophylaxis and polishing, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planning, patient assessment of hard and soft tissues, periodontal exams, applying fluoride varnish and sealants, as ordered by dentist, and taking radiographs. The person in this position will also provide additional clinical support and provide patient record documentation.A more realistic starting pay rate for Dental Hygienists will be $32 per hour, with the potential for a higher rate. All pay rates will be commensurate of candidate's education and experience
