Open Rank Faculty Position (Part-Time Only)

The Columbia University College of Dental Medicine invites applications for part-time open rank faculty positions in the Division of Periodontics.

Reporting to the Section Chair/Division Director, the incumbent will have the primary responsibility of instruction and supervision of students and/or residents in the College of Dental Medicine’s teaching clinics. Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Patient care supervision
• Providing student teaching and mentoring
• Compliance with HIPAA regulations and adherence to institutional and departmental policies and procedures
• Upholding professionalism standards in accordance with the School’s Faculty Handbook

Requirements: DDS or DMD degree and an active New York State Dental License. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Salary Range: $45,000–$55,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
