Established in 1986, Dakota Regional Periodontics, a growing periodontal practice in the midwest, is seeking a full-time, experienced, Periodontist to join us as an associate for our area patients and dentists with an ideal start date of May 2024. We are in Rapid City, in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. We are minutes away from Mt. Rushmore, hiking/ATV trails, camping, lakes, plenty of great shopping, restaurants, and many fun attractions! We live in a hunting, fishing, and sight-seeking paradise.
Our practice takes pride in treating patients in the most current, most caring, and comfortable way. We are a referral-based practice that provides many treatments including dental implants, ridge and sinus augmentation, grafting procedures, sedation, and regenerative periodontal treatment.

Job Description
Motivated to be able to treatment plan/have a large case acceptance rate and produce at a high pace on a daily basis while maintaining a healthy work/life balance
Perform all phases of periodontal dentistry/surgery and related dental implant services to the appropriate standards as set forth by the practice
Ability to build a good rapport with patients and staff and promote the success of the center.
Be willing to take a leadership role in with an emphasis on driving profitability
Possess a patient-centered mindset and approach to treatment planning and day to day center operations
Must be a graduate of an accredited U.S. School DDS/DMD from a dental education program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation
Certificate in Periodontics from an American Dental Association accredited program.
Credentials for licensing to perform moderate sedation (current ACLS/BLS)
DEA certificate (separate SD state DEA is required)
