This position is a full-time non-tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor position for a periodontist in the department of periodontics at the Dental College of Georgia-Augusta University. This position requires a DMD, DDS, or equivalent (e.g. BDA), a certificate from a CODA-accredited advanced education in periodontics program, one-years’ experience teaching residents or dental students and requires acquisition of a license to teach or practice dentistry in the state of Georgia before appointment. Preferred qualifications include: board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Periodontology, formal training in IV sedation, PhD degree in a biomedical sciences field.
