Brooklyn Practice Directors
New York University
NYU College of Dentistry is seeking qualified applicants for full time clinical track faculty positions to inaugurate our new patient care facility in Brooklyn. Responsibilities include but will not be limited to providing direct patient care and providing instruction under a new mentor-protégé model designed to increase efficiency and improve student learning. Under this mentor-protégé model, the instructor-practitioner will mentor a very small group of student protégés or associates who will also be providing patient care alongside the faculty-mentor. This will increase student clinical experience by increasing patient volume while allowing care to be delivered more efficiently than in traditional dental school clinics. This new model will further extend oral healthcare to the community and will offer an important role-modeling opportunity for students by faculty.
